Energy Stone Session:

Energy Stones is designed for therapists who offer healing sessions in a Sacred way.  It involves using the Chakra System and focuses on bring a balance to the whole human experience.  Stones are placed at various places on the body that are both hot 130 degrees and cold 32 degrees.  This affects the internal system of the physiological body.  .It challenges the circulatory and lymphatic systems.  Alternating both headed and chilled stones in a session results in an acceleration of blood, lymph and digestive fluids within the body.

Reiki

The International Center
for Reiki Training

A Brief Overview

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that
also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is
based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us
and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is
low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is
high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Network Spinal Analysis (NSA)

Network Spinal Analysis provides a clinical framework, which allows doctors of chiropractic to work with individuals, in structured levels of care, to achieve specific neuro-spinal, wellness enhancing strategies.

Using precise, gentle, low-force (light touch) contacts along the spine, to help the brain connect more effectively with the body, individuals learn to find and release tension from spinal structures.

As strategies evolve and neuro-spinal integrity increases, practice members report less stress, improved physical, emotional and psychological well-being, more life enjoyment, self-motivated lifestyle changes, and improved overall quality of life.

Network Spinal Analysis care is an evidence based approach to wellness and body awareness. Gentle precise touch to the spine cues the brain to create new wellness promoting strategies.

Two unique healing waves develop that are associated with spontaneous release of spinal and life tensions, and the use of existing tension as fuel for spinal re-organization and enhanced wellness. Practitioners combine their clinical assessments of spinal refinements with patient’s self assessments of wellness and life changes. Greater self-awareness and conscious awakening of the relationships within the body, mind, emotion, and expression of the human spirit are realized through this popular healing work.

Advancing New Strategies for Living & Healing in our Rapidly Changing World

Network Spinal Analysis, through specific low force touches to the spine, assists the brain in developing new strategies to:

  • Experience the world
  • Adapt to stress
  • Dissipate tension from the spine and nerves
  • Connect with your body’s natural rhythms
  • Experience greater well being
  • Make healthier choices
  • Create a more self – correcting self reliant “magical spine”
  • Develop the Somatopsychic and Respiratory “healing waves”

NSA care combines the patient’s self-reported improvements in health and wellness with the practitioners plan for development of new strategies in their spine and in their life.

B.E.S.T.

B.E.S.T. is a non-forceful, energy balancing hands on procedure used to help reestablish the full healing potential of the body. Understanding the body makes no mistakes regarding health and longevity, B.E.S.T. principles acknowledge the concept of Interference we create with our conscious mind. This Interference caused imbalance in the autonomic nervous system leading to exhaustion of our organ systems over time. Researched at major universities, taught in several Chiropractic Colleges and in professional continuing education seminars, B.E.S.T. is recognized as an effective healing science. The principles and concepts of Morter Health System and B.E.S.T. technique are available to families, therapists and health care practitioners.

Emotional B.E.S.T. utilizes advanced technology developed to update higher brain interference from expression in the physical body. When emotional thoughts such as worry, guilt, fear, judgment, to name just a few, become the overriding factor in our memory patterns, interference with the divine plan for our perfect health and wellness becomes the norm. This interference, formulated by conscious thought which in turn becomes a pattern, prevents the true expression of our physical bodies healing capability. Emotional B.E.S.T. is an advanced
procedure to help identify this emotional pattern, update the interference, and then allow the body to function based on current situations rather than past experiences. This is the core of B.E.S.T. technology. This is the pattern for health and wellness. The pattern unlocks the power. This procedure can be utilized by both practitioners and patients depending on their level of expertise and usually takes between 5-15 minutes to complete.

Physical B.E.S.T. is based on scientific principles utilizing light pressure contacts on the surface of the body to address parasympathetic and sympathetic imbalances. Physical B.E.S.T. offers a non-force way to update patterns of stress and discomfort which have been surfacing in both acute pain and chronic conditions. The physical B.E.S.T. procedure is administered in the prone position, utilizing the prone leg check, palpating muscles, and subsequently holding pressure points along the spine, sacrum, and skull. When muscles are balanced and the updated pattern restored, spinal muscle spasm and nerve pressure are removed. Patients/clients often experience immediate relief from symptoms and completely enjoy the painless approach to health and wellness. The body can heal itself if just given the opportunity. The pattern unlocks the power and B.E.S.T. is about identifying the pattern and unlocking the power within each of us.

Craniosacral therapy (CST)

Craniosacral therapy (CST), or cranial-sacral therapy, is a form of
bodywork or alternative therapy focused primarily on the concept of
“primary respiration” and regulating the flow of cerebrospinal fluid
by usingtherapeutic touch to manipulate the synarthrodial joints of
the cranium. To do this, a practitioner will apply light touches to a
patient’s skull, face, spine and pelvis.[1] Craniosacral therapy was
developed by John Upledger, D.O. in the 1970s, and is loosely based on
osteopathy in the cranial field (OCF), which was developed in the
1930s by William Garner Sutherland.[1][2]

What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that
releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and
improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and
developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of
clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he
served as professor of biomechanics.

Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about
the weight of a nickel – practitioners release restrictions in the
soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is
increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to
bolster resistance to disease, and it”s effective for a wide range of
medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Torque Release Technique (T.R.T)

The below webpage compares toe Torque to tuning a guitar.  Maybe add
the link to your webpage for patients to read more…its  a thought.

http://www.torquerelease.com.au/Nervous-System.htm

Spinal Subluxations can best be described as specific sites of spinal
malfunction leading to irritation of the body’s central computer, the
nervous system. The end result of this is separation from wholeness
and an inability to experience wellbeing.

Only “vertebrates” have an opiate receptor Brain Reward Cascade
chemical mechanism which allows them to experience a state of
wellbeing.

In simpler terms, there is a series of chemical reactions that occur
in your nervous system, which when working properly, result in you
thinking “I FEEL GOOD, LIKE YOU KNOW THAT I SHOULD NOW…”

The common denominator is the spine and spinal cord.

If the spine is allowed to express itself without interference (free
of subluxations) the person can express full potential. If the nervous
system “feels good”, then usually the rest of the body “works well”.

Research published in one of the most respected psychiatry journals
showed dramatically increased success in reducing anxiety and
depression levels, and improved measurements of wellbeing, when Torque
Release Technique (“TRT”) Chiropractic Adjustments were received.

TRT is the most up-to-date chiropractic technique available. It has
been designed as part of scientific research into the health benefits
of chiropractic. As such it is a mixture of the ”best-of-the-best”
systems of chiropractic assessment and treatment.

Another website says:

Torque Release bases its technique on gentle touch and light thrusting
by using a hand-held instrument called an Integrator. The Integrator
reproduces the thrust and movement components of the classic
chiropractic method of adjusting by hand, at a speed of 1/10,000th of
a second. This low-force adjusting method allows the nervous system to
better integrate and understand new corrective information and to
process it throughout the spinal cord and brain. Your spinal
corrections do not stop once you get off the table. They continue as
you breathe and move.

You may notice that you hear a click or feel movement in your spine
later on the same day after the Torque Release adjustment. That is
your body realigning and correcting its own subluxations. Torque
Release allows your body to make its own corrections and increase
healing with ongoing care. Because these corrections are not limited
to just the areas of pain and symptoms, the healing experience is
typically deeper in all areas of the body, mind, and emotions. Torque
Release releases tension at the spinal cord by correcting subluxations
of spinal segments intimately connected with the meninges, or
attachments, of the spinal cord. It leads to profound neurological
changes that benefit everyone – no matter what symptom or level of
health they are currently experiencing.

The primary intent of the Torque Release Technique is to progressively
reduce blockages and tension of the entire spinal system, to release
trapped, unresolved neurological patterns in the body and mind, and to
facilitate reintegration of the nervous system, allowing a greater
expression of one’s healing and performance capabilities.

TOGGLE RECOIL ADJUSTMENT

The Toggle adjustment is a gentle low force technique that can be
performed on a patient without having to turn the neck or apply the
type of force that results in a “clicking or cracking” noise.  This
technique is very beneficial for patients who prefer to avoid the high
velocity manipulation but still require the benefit of spinal
adjustment.  There is no twisting or cracking of the neck, only a firm
pressure on the atlas as the head piece of the table gently “drops”.
Many patients feel as though very little or nothing has happened,
although correction of the atlas has many far reaching benefits.

When looking for causal structural mechanisms which may lead to human
dysfunction it is important to examine the upper cervical spine.
Whether it is spinal cord pressure or pressure on cranial nerves or
blood vessels at the skull base or other contributing factors there
has been a long history of chiropractors looking at the atlas or 1st
cervical vertebra as a primary factor in many conditions. Many
practices are based upon the premise that the upper cervical spine in
a sick person should be checked for atlas subluxation first, something
which is rarely carried out. Many positive health benefits have
occurred from this approach.

The upper cervical adjustment so named toggle recoil involves a
contact by the practitioner on the atlas transverse process to carry
out the adjustment. The Palmer Recoil has been taught since 1909-10,
and is still the basic fundamental of the present Palmer
Torque-Toggle-Recoil in use in Hole-in-One. The efficient delivery of
the Palmer Recoil is to secure, relaxation on the part of the patient
immediately before and during the delivery of the external adjustive
force. The adjustive force occurs with great speed, followed by a
swift withdrawal of the contact point of his adjusting hand, so as not
to resist the natural recoil of the patient. The object is to enable
the Innate Intelligence of the patient to perform its part in
completing the adjustment.

Anyone who has experienced a modern day TOGGLE RECOIL adjustment will
tell you that, when delivered correctly this adjustment is very
tolerable and very effective.

Thompson Technique

After gently lowering you to a prone position, individual drop pieces
give way, reducing the amount of energy needed to adjust your spine.

The Thompson Technique, developed by Dr. J. Clay Thompson, has evolved
into a system of analysis and a way of adjusting the full spine. The
combination produces precise adjustments and high levels of patient
comfort.

A System of Analysis

Early chiropractors noticed that subluxations would produce the
appearance of a short, or contracted leg. Using a protocol of
comparing leg lengths while the patient turned their head, helped
determine whether the subluxation was in the upper, middle or lower
back.

Terminal Point Table

What patients often notice first is our segmental “drop” table. After
stepping onto the platform, the table gently lowers you into a
horizontal position. This helps preserve any leg length inequality.

Individual cushions or “drop pieces” located along our table surface,
support each area of your spine until the thrust is delivered. Then,
each drop-piece gently gives way, reducing the amount of energy needed
to move a specific spinal segment.

Popular and Patented

So unique is this approach, Dr. Thompson was granted a patent in 1955.
Since then, because of its precision and patient results, it is a
technique used around the world.

Diversified technique (DT)

Diversified technique (DT) is the most commonly used adjustment
technique by chiropractors.[1] Like many chiropractic and osteopathic
manipulative techniques, Diversified is characterized by a
high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust. Diversified is considered the
most generic chiropractic manipulative technique and is differentiated
from other techniques in that its objective is to restore proper
movement and alignment of spine and joint dysfunction.[2] The
diversified technique remains the principal system taught at National
University of Health Sciences, New York Chiropractic College, Texas
Chiropractic College, Southern California University of Health
Sciences, Northwestern College of Chiropractic and Canadian Memorial
Chiropractic College.

The diversified technique is the most commonly used chiropractic
treatment; it involves the manipulation and adjustment of the spinal
column and/or arms/legs. It is called the Diversified Technique
because it is a combination of the best techniques from other methods
of manipulation. It involves the use of a low amplitude thrust to
adjust the spine and correct any joint dysfunction, and it continues
to be one of the most effective treatments for patients of all ages
and health histories.
